Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join a SaaS company as they continue their exciting growth journey.
The role involves handling financial transactions, supporting management accounting, using Xero and other cloud-based finance systems, and managing credit control. Additionally, you will provide general administrative support to the finance team and management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage bookkeeping, post transactions, reconcile multiple bank accounts, and maintain accurate financial records using Xero.
* Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and receipts.
* Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
* Manage customer subscriptions and assist with credit control.
* Collaborate with account managers to manage customer subscriptions.
* Monitor overdue payments and liaise with clients to resolve issues.
* Maintain accurate records of credit control communications.
* Provide general administrative support to finance and management teams.
* Assist with HR and health & safety administration processes.
* Undertake general office duties.
Some of the requirements:
* Excellent communication and customer service skills, particularly for credit control.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and cloud-based systems.
* Ability to multitask and work independently.
* Reliable, with a high level of integrity and discretion.
* Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
* Expertise in finance and accounting.
* Experience with Xero accounting software (or similar) and Stripe (or other payment systems).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications.
* A recognized qualification in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
