Management Accounts Assistant
Location: Newport
Position: Full time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £30k
Autograph Recruitment are working with a practice based in Newport who are looking to expand their client service team and want experienced, enthusiastic and driven individuals to apply for this accounts assistant position.
About the role: -
This role is an integral part of the outsourced financial department. The key function of this role is to process financial information, provide accurate reports and to support management and senior accounts team.
Duties include (but not limited to): -
*Monthly bookkeeping and bank reconciliation
*Analysis of receipts and payments
*Analysis of creditors and debtors
*Monthly management reporting
*Liaising with clients on queries and reports
*Preparation and submission of VAT returns for a range of clients
Key skills, experience and attributes: -
A broad range of skills and experience will be required to fulfill this role and the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
*Have previous experience in a similar role
*Have excellent communication skills
*Be highly organised with an attention to detail
*Be proactive and self–motivated
*Works well as part of a team
*Have strong IT and numeracy skills

Experience:
*practice: 1 year (preferred)
