Job Description:
Business Development Manager
*Location: Basingstoke
*Salary: up to £40k base + uncapped commission
*Type: Full-time
*Reporting to: Sales Manager
Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation based in Basingstoke.
Role Purpose *Drive sales growth by generating new qualified leads and nurturing existing customer relationships.
*Build relationships with Account Directors to close opportunities and exceed customer expectations.
*Thrive in a target-driven, fast-paced sales environment.
Responsibilities *Conduct phone sales for IT networking and cyber security solutions.
*Build and maintain relationships with customers and vendors.
*Develop business with both new and existing customers.
*Cold calling daily to generate leads and opportunities.
*Manage prospects using an online CRM system and support marketing campaigns with follow-up emails.
*Create proposals, quotations, and attend customer meetings when applicable.
Requirements *Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT security technology sales.
*Proven success in a cold-calling environment.
*Strong communication skills with attention to detail and organisation.
*Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM tools.
*Passion for technology and IT security with a self-starter mindset.
