Job Title: Senior Management Accountant/Financial Accountant

About the Role: My client is recruiting for a permanent Senior Management Accountant to join their team on the outskirts of Walton-On-Thames. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the financial health and strategic planning of a dynamic organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
*Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
*Analyse financial performance and contribute to business planning and forecasting.
*Monitor and report on key financial metrics and variances.
*Assist in budgeting and financial planning processes.
*Conduct cost analysis and recommend cost-saving measures.
*Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
*Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
*Manage and oversee the financial reporting process.
*Assist with year-end audits and liaise with external auditors.
Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
*Part Qualified or Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) preferred.
*Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar role.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
