Senior Accountant

Join a leading accountancy practice in Brighton as a Senior Accountant. This role is ideal for someone with 3-5 years of experience within a practice environment, looking to manage a varied portfolio of candidates. Familiarity with IRIS and Xero systems is essential for this position.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Manage and oversee a diverse portfolio of clients
*Utilise IRIS and Xero systems to maintain accurate financial records and perform data analysis.
*Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and other reports as required.
*Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and systems.
*Provide guidance and support to junior staff, helping them to develop their accounting skills.
*Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
*Maintain strong communication with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored financial advice.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Fully ACCA qualified accountant
*3-5 years of experience working within an accountancy practice.
*Proficient in using IRIS and Xero accounting software.
*Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
*Strong client communication skills, able to build and maintain effective relationships.
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
