Interim Assistant Accountant (Fixed Assets) - Oxford - Intial 6 month contract £170-£200 a day (via umbrella)
In2 Consult are partnering with a business in Oxford on the recruitment of a Fixed Asset Accountant for an initial 6 month contract.
The key duties of this Fixed Asset Accountant role includes:
*Ownership of the Fixed Assset Register - reporting montly appreciation and depreciation
*Presenting updates/trends to senior stakeholders
*Cross functional Buisness Partnering
*Maintain the fixed asset register, ensuring all additions, disposals, and transfers are accurately recorded.
*Conduct periodic reviews and physical audits of fixed assets to verify existence and condition.
*Reconcile the fixed asset register with the general ledger regularly.
Qualifications and neccesary experience:
*ACCA/CIMA/ACA minimum part qualified
*Proven experience in fixed asset accounting, preferably in a medium to large organisation.
*Experience in reconciliations and double entry bookeeping 
*Experience in month-end accounting
*Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.
*Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
*Effective communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
