Role Overview:

Due to growth, we are looking for a strategic Category Marketing Manager.
You will be responsible for managing and executing end-to-end marketing strategies to support category growth and maximise market share. You will be the champion of your category, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop integrated campaigns that resonate with consumers and deliver impactful results.
Key Responsibilities of a Category Marketing Manager:
*Category Strategy Development: Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies for specific product categories, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives and consumer needs.
*Integrated Campaigns: Design and implement 360-degree marketing campaigns that cover digital, traditional media, retail, experiential, and in-store activation to boost category visibility and sales.
*Market Insights & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and consumer analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities. Translate insights into actionable strategies.
*Brand Positioning: Ensure consistent and compelling brand messaging across all channels, ensuring the category’s value proposition is communicated clearly to target audiences.
*Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product development, supply chain, and creative teams to execute campaigns that align with business objectives and maximize impact.
*Trade & Retail Marketing: Develop and implement retail-specific strategies, including point-of-sale (POS) materials, promotions, and trade marketing activities to increase category presence and drive consumer purchase.
*Budget & Performance Management: Manage the marketing budget for the category, ensuring optimal resource allocation. Measure the performance and effectiveness of campaigns, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet KPIs.
*Stakeholder Management: Work with key internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment on category objectives and ensure successful execution of marketing initiatives.
Key Requirements of a Category Marketing Manager:
*Minimum 4 years of experience in category marketing within the FMCG sector.
*Proven experience in managing marketing strategies for specific product categories.
*Great understanding of consumer behavior, product positioning, and market dynamics.
*Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends, consumer insights, and performance data to inform strategic decisions.
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and lead cross-departmental teams.
*Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
*A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
