Underwriting Portfolio Manager
EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY
My client, a specialist insurer focusing on Travel, Gadget, and other Niche products, is seeking a proactive and experienced professional to join their team as an Underwriting Portfolio Manager. This fully remote position offers a unique opportunity to lead the development and growth of a profitable non-life insurance portfolio while driving innovation and ensuring best practices in underwriting.
Salary: £90,000-£100,000
Location: UK (Remote)
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain underwriting procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
* Analyse portfolio performance, identify risks, and recommend strategies to enhance profitability.
* Lead and actively participate in pricing, underwriting, and technical committee meetings.
* Collaborate with Commercial and Pricing teams to design competitive business proposals and pricing strategies.
* Research and contribute to the development of new product areas and market insights.
* Build strong relationships with distribution partners and provide expert underwriting support.
