The Company
Due to continued expansion, my client situated in Bolton is looking for a Multi skilled engineer on a panama shift to add to their growing internal engineering Team.
The Role - Multi skilled engineer
*Quick response to breakdowns and its rectification, ensuring that all work is carried out in an effective and safe manner
*Ensure all reports and records are completed correctly and issued within the correct timescales
*Fully support improvement initiatives and development of the engineering department to enable the business to grow
*To ensure the achievements of the engineering KPIs and targets are met
*Be part of the corrective and planned maintenance programs
*Assist in the development, input and the fully utilisation of the CMMS program
*Mentor and support other team members
*Ensure a good working relationship with production and all support functions
*To ensure all Company procedures and rules are adhered to; Health & Safety, Food Hygiene standards
*To ensure all plant and equipment are maintained and kept operational and safe
*To establish an effective working relationship with production and ensure regular communication and feedback
*To identify and implement labour saving and productivity improvements in conjunction with production teams
*Provide engineering and technical support / training for Line Technicians
What We Are Looking For
The Multi skilled engineer should be experienced within a similar role and have the following skills/experience:
General Skills
*Good engineering knowledge gained within a maintenance FMCG or similar environment
*Self managed and able to demonstrate a good level of performance
*Multi-skilled or electrical ONC / NVQ 3 or higher in maintenance engineering
*Good communication and IT skills
*Have good organisation skills and attention to detail
*Ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues
