Payroll Specialist - Payroll Bureau
Location: Blackpool
Type: Full-time | Permanent

The Role
You will manage multiple client payrolls, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. This is a client-facing role that requires exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
Key Responsibilities
*Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for a diverse client base.
*Ensure compliance with PAYE, NIC, RTI submissions, and pension auto-enrolment.
*Handle starters, leavers, and adjustments such as holiday pay, statutory payments, and bonuses.
*Liaise with clients to address payroll queries and provide expert guidance.
*Prepare and distribute payslips, P45s, and other payroll-related documents.
*Stay up to date with payroll legislation and HMRC requirements.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering excellent client service.
Ideal Candidate:
*Proven experience in a payroll bureau or similar environment.
*Strong knowledge of payroll systems and processes.
*Up-to-date understanding of payroll legislation, including RTI and auto-enrolment.
*Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
*A team player with a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
