Customer Service Agent *Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (6 months)

My client are currently seeking a dedicated Customer Service Agent to join their public sector team on a temporary basis for 6 months. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in customer service who is adept at handling inquiries and providing exceptional support to the public.
Day to day of the role: *Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a courteous and professional manner.
*Provide accurate information and assistance to customers, ensuring their queries are resolved promptly.
*Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge to offer solutions and support.
*Record details of customer interactions and transactions, tracking all inquiries and comments.
*Collaborate with team members to ensure a consistent and high-quality service experience.
*Handle and resolve customer complaints or escalate issues as necessary.
*Meet personal and team targets for service efficiency and quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Proven experience in a customer service role.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
*Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
*Familiarity with customer service software, databases, and tools.
*Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism.
