Higher Level Teaching Assistant
*Location: HX6, UK
*Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

Day-to-day of the role: *Support teachers in the classroom by managing resources and assisting with lesson delivery.
*Work directly with children either one-on-one or in small groups to enhance their learning and social skills.
*Manage heightened behaviours, ensuring safety and providing consistent, non-judgmental support.
*Engage in a variety of activities with the children, including educational trips, social lunch settings, board games, science experiments, and creating displays.
*Celebrate student successes and participate in therapy sessions or reflective discussions on challenging periods.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Proven experience working with SEN in a similar or transferable role.
*Resilience, persistence, and a solution-focused attitude.
*Ability to wear many hats and adapt quickly to changing situations.
*Must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
*Strong commitment to enhancing the educational and social development of children with special needs.
