Job Description:
Assure Personnel are pleased to be working with a fantastic client of ours based on the outskirts of Maldon, working within the Supply Chain team, this role is pivotal within the company and would suit somebody with a strong administrative background, who loves working with numbers and is highly organised!
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
*Creating purchase forecasts and stock forecasts for a portfolio of products and suppliers, ensuring service levels are maintained.
*Recommending changes and managing stock profiles, max/minimum stock positions, buffer stocks and EOQ calculations.
*Proactively managing purchase orders with suppliers, ensuring business parameters are followed.
*Reviewing slow-moving, excess and obsolete stock and identifying products for clearance whilst managing trigger points.
*Collaborating with the Operations team to ensure all deliveries are pre-booked and compliant.
*Ensuring monthly budget spend is adhered to in all currencies and expediting orders with suppliers.

*To be proactive and very well organised, this role requires you to juggle tasks to keep things running smoothly
*To be good with numbers, you must be comfortable working with data
*To be willing to make an impact quickly
