We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in a home care setting, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to implement care plans and assist with daily living activities.
Responsibilities
*- Personal care needs
*- Management of saliva/secretions (suction machine has been ordered).
*- Management of PEG feeds and flushes.
*- Monitoring of weight due to weight loss.
*- Continence care.
*- Management of skin integrity.
*- Full assistance with moving and handling ensuring risk assessment is followed.
*- Anticipation of all needs.
*- Reassurance and management of distress.
*- Administration of medications via PEG.
*- Monitoring of pain
*- On-going therapy for management of posture.
*- Night time needs.
*- Assistance with hydrotherapy
Requirements
*Minimum 2 Years Previous experience as a Health Care Assistant (required)
*Minimum 1 year experience with Brain injury / spinal injury (required)
*Minimum 1 year experience with Peg feeding (required)
*A valid UK driving licence with vehicle (required)
*A genuine passion for providing high-quality care to vulnerable individuals.
*Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary.

Pay: £11.44-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
