Job Description:
JOB – Applications & Compliance Engineer
LOCATION – Derbyshire
TERM - Permanent
SALARY – circa £35,000 - £50,000 per annum depending on experience
A Derbyshire based Engineering company are currently looking for an Applications & Compliance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Applications Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
*HNC or equivalent/ higher electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
*Good understanding of AutoCAD Electrical design packages.
*Good experience with electrical switchgear in a manufacturing environment.
*Strong knowledge of BS EN 61439
*Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
*Strong communication skills.
The duties & responsibilities will include:
*Producing technical documentations to comply with customer requirements & specifications.
*Ensuring all products are tested in accordance to BS EN 61439
*Providing technical support & knowledge to new & existing customers.
*Liaising with other departments to ensure requirements are met at all times.
