Your new role
You will be responsible for analysing and identifying VAT, identifying VAT exemptions and reporting on the organisations VAT compliance and strategy. This is not a ’taxation’ role as it would suit someone who has hands on VAT calculation experience ideally from an educational environment. The role is 6 month fixed term contract and is working in the office from 8am to 5pm.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will need to be Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience and have a thorough understanding of VAT and the recent changes in VAT exemptions and partial exemptions. You will be practical and hands on with experience of reporting on the analysis you do around the VAT to the Finance Manager and other key stakeholders in the organisation.
What you’ll get in return
You will be working 8am to 5pm based in the office, you will be eligible for excellent holiday allowance of 26 days plus bank holidays pro rata for 6 months, you will be eligible for a free lunch and have free parking along with pension and access to the on-site gym
