Job Description:
HR Manager
£40,000 FTE
30 hours
Our client, a leading manufacturer, is currently seeking a HR Manager to join their team.
Reporting into the board, this is a standalone HR Manager role with responsibility for dealing with all operational HR matters and providing HR support.
Responsibilities
*Be the first point of call for employees, providing them with training and development information, career opportunities and employee wellbeing
*Develop, implement and update HR policies and procedures
*Manage the recruitment process including, liaising with departments to develop job descriptions, supporting the interview process and inducting new employees
*Foster a positive culture and address employee concerns in a timely manner
*Oversee performance management processes, providing guidance to managers and employee
*Ensure compliance with Employment Laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR best practice
Your skills:
*HR Professional & CIPD qualified
*Minimum 5 years generalist HR experience
*Experience of working as a standalone HR professional
*Experience of using HR systems
*Strong focus on solutions and "can do" attitude / approach
*Good working knowledge of current employment law
