Job Description:
HR Administrator
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Administrator to join a leading organisation based in Belfast.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent position.
Working hours: 9am-5pm
Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 at home) normally after 2-3 months of training.
With a salary of £26,000 to £27,000 per annum.
Job Purpose:
You will be responsible for helping managers to onboard new hires in a specialised and organised manner. This role will oversee many day-to-day administrative duties while assisting in helping new hires better understand the business culture, and routinely measuring the onboarding programs overall performance.
Essential Criteria:
*1+ years of Human Resource experience within a similar role.
*IT proficient with the knowledge and use of Microsoft Suite, to include PowerPoint, Word and basic to intermediate Excel.
*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
*Ability to manage and prioritise workload while adhering to deadlines.
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
*Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
*Onboarding of new hires (including Right to Work/Security Checks, Offer letters, Contracts of Employment)
*Assist the operations team with ensuring new hires and transitioning team members receive the right onboarding information at the right time (positively contributing to their future success)
*Verifying Right to Work in UK and Ireland
*Ensuring data is captured to comply with audits
*Routinely validate new hire data for accuracy
*Routinely monitor new hire onboarding dashboard while raising awareness to hires that have outstanding tasks to complete
*Administration of offboarding, recording of sickness absence and maternity, monitoring HR email inbox and responding to queries from managers and employees.
*Organising training sessions – sending out invites, booking venues and arranging catering
*Maintaining and updating employee records and issuing contractual amendments, as necessary
*Notetaking at meetings
*Update and administer the new hire dashboard
*Align the onboarding platform to each contract requirements
*Validate consistency of new hire paperwork and records retention of the documentation
*Partner with the HR executive team to ensure the onboarding process remains compliant with local and regulatory requirements
