Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a senior role and contribute significantly to patient care. The role involves working in Rheumatology/MSK and T&O Hand Therapy services, focusing on promoting self-care, independence, and rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage a caseload of complex patients, with supervision from a Senior Therapist/Clinical Lead.
*Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient interventions using evidence-based practices.
*Participate in research and support a research-driven culture within the services.
*Supervise and educate junior staff, unregistered members, and students.
*Adapt to changes in service demand and capacity.
Requirements:
*HCPC registration.
*Proven experience in Rheumatology/MSK and/or Hand Therapy.
*Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
*Experience in supervising junior staff and students is preferred.
