A brilliant school based in Reading are looking to welcome a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to the school in December 2024. The school cater to children aged 5-18 years old with additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia and complex needs. They are looking to expand their support staff team with another dedicated HLTA!
*Full Time, Permanent position
*£25,000 - £27,000 per annum
*Higher Level Teaching Assistant
*Based in Reading
As an HLTA, your responsibilities will include:
*Providing targeted support to students on a 1:1 or group basis
*Classroom management - adapting and delivering lesson material adjusted to students’ individual needs
*Assessing and reporting - collaborating with SENCO to adapt students education plans
*Assessing and reporting students’ progress, development and attainment
*Mentoring - guidance of other support staff such as teaching assistants

The successful HLTA will be dedicated and enthusiastic about helping students reach their potential. Previous Teaching Assistant experience is necessary - this can be in a Specialist, Primary or Secondary setting.
