Job Description:
Package Role - Manufacturing Manager
Location - Carlisle
Contract Type - Permanent
Working Pattern - Office based
Salary - Up to £70,000 + 15% bonus
Start Date - ASAP

Responsibilities
*Efficiently manage manufacturing operations, ensuring products meet customer requirements while achieving business objectives and targets.
*Manage profitability and continuously improve manufacturing performance.
*Prioritise and drive continuous improvement activities through the use of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
*Collaborate with Safety, HR, Environment, Quality, Production, Engineering, and Cost Control functions to achieve shared goals.
*Build high-performing teams and develop employees to contribute effectively to the business.
*Motivate and drive the team to achieve challenging business objectives.
*Ensure health and safety compliance and deliver exceptional customer service.
Essential Skills
*Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a similar technical field.
*Previous experience as a Manufacturing/Production Manager in the sustainable metal packaging industry or a related field.
*Proven track record of successfully managing skilled engineering teams.
* A solid leader with strong people skills, able to engage, influence, and motivate teams.
Desirable Skills
*Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.
*Knowledge of food safety and other management systems.
