About the Role
Position: Director of Sales - Middle East
This role involves overseeing sales activities targeting the Middle East market to drive business growth. Key responsibilities include:
*Leading efforts to secure business from consortiums in the region.
*Aligning with revenue objectives and negotiating effectively.
*Conducting performance reviews, goal-setting, and development planning for direct reports.
*Representing the property at key tradeshows and planning familiarization trips.
*Managing the annual sales P&L for assigned markets.
*Collaborating with Global Sales Offices to ensure seamless communication and effective lead conversion.
*Staying informed on competitive trends in the market.
*Handling high-revenue leads and employing creative sales techniques.
About You
Ideal candidates will have:
*At least three years of experience in upscale or luxury hospitality, with a focus on the Middle East market.
*Proven team management and revenue generation skills.
*Desirable familiarity with the London hospitality market.
*Proficiency in hotel sales systems (e.g., Opera Fusion, Delphi, Salesforce, etc.).
*Strong negotiation and business closing skills.
