Our client, a rapidly expanding company, is looking for a TPI Business Development Manager to join their team. In this role you will focus on managing and growing relationships with Third-Party Intermediaries (TPIs) to drive business growth and contribute to the company’s ongoing success. To be successful in this role you will need a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with TPIs in the energy industry, have 2 years’ experience in new business development in a B2B environment and have a strong knowledge of the energy sector. Key responsibilities:
*Develop & manage new/ existing TPIs to drive new business, site growth and contract value.
*Building sustainable relationships to drive growth and maintain high retention rates.
*Elevate select TPIs to a strategic level where mutual value is maximized.
*Ensure effective, regular communication with TPIs, emphasizing face-to-face meetings.
*Proactively enhance propositions in collaboration with TPIs to expand our customer base.
*Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify additional areas of added value.
*Work closely with TPI Account Managers to maximise relationship opportunities.
*Manage relationship plans and provide detailed reporting on a regular basis.
*Handle contractual paperwork for TPI partnerships and negotiate agreements.
Skills and experience required:
*Minimum of 2 years of experience working with TPIs in the energy retail industry.
*Minimum of 2 years’ experience in new business development in a B2B environment.
*Strong knowledge of the business energy sector is essential.
*Proven ability to manage long-term relationships.
*Excellent communication and presentation skills.
*Exceptional relationship-building skills.
*Proficient in negotiation and closing sales.
*Ambitious and target-driven.
*Strong organizational and planning skills.
*Ability to manage high workloads and prioritize effectively.
*Demonstrated focus and emotional resilience.
*A degree is preferred but not essential; articulate and numerate
