Ground Control is seeking a motivated Commercial Manager with 2-3 years of relevant experience, ideally suited for a professional looking to advance into commercial management. This role offers a valuable opportunity for individuals with a solid understanding of NEC contracts, forecasting, and financial management within the civils and highways sectors to take the next step in their career.
Role Overview:
As a Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial success and contractual compliance of our projects. This position is an excellent fit for those eager to apply their expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and project cost analysis at a management level.
Key responsibilities include:
*Management of NEC Contracts: Overseeing NEC contracts to ensure alignment with project objectives, mitigate risks, and maintain contract compliance.
*Financial Forecasting and Budget Oversight: Providing accurate cost forecasts and rigorous budget management to sustain project profitability and financial integrity.
*Project Financial Management: Monitoring job costs and evaluating project performance to inform financial decisions, with regular reporting to senior management.
*Collaborative Engagement: Engaging with cross-functional teams, including project managers and finance, to ensure cohesive project delivery and financial alignment.
This position is well-suited to individuals who are ready to transition into a management role and possess:
*2-3 Years of Experience in commercial or financial management, ideally within civils and highways environments.
*Comprehensive Knowledge of NEC Contracts with the ability to manage and implement these effectively.
*Financial Proficiency: Strong skills in job costing, forecasting, and budgetary control.
*Collaborative Mindset: Effective communication skills and a team-oriented approach to working across departments
