Job Description:
Senior HR Advisor, Location: Hybrid / Altrincham office (3 days office), Remuneration: £43-£48k + 33 days holiday, Salary exchange pension scheme, Health cash plan.
Our client is an outsourced HR Consultancy with an expanding portfolio of clients across a variety of sectors in England and Wales. They continue to support their clients through some of the most challenging years from an economic and employment perspective, and the team has excelled in delivering a quality and timely service. They are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to further strengthen the team.
Senior HR Advisor – The role:
With a curious mind, you will get to know your clients, their business, their challenges, and objectives. You will account manage your clients, working collaboratively with other team members and associates as needed, to deliver the solutions that are right for them. Your varied workload will include managing both straightforward and complex absence, conduct, performance, and grievance issues; advising clients on acquisitions and related TUPE matters; and supporting managers to implement new initiatives that deliver employee engagement, retention, and wellbeing.
Candidate requirements:
*You will have a desire to work with a diverse portfolio of clients within a collaborative consultancy environment.
*MCIPD qualified (or minimum level 7) with considerable experience in a similar role, i.e., HR Consultant, HR Manager, HR Business Partner (either in a consultancy or in-house).
*Demonstrate a wealth of employment law knowledge and its application in a commercial environment. Knowing when to take an informal or a formal route of action, for example.
*Pride yourself on building excellent working relationships with business owners and their teams, delivering a true partnership service.
*Solid experience of multiple ER activities, specifically including dismissals in all its forms.
*Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work at pace, transferring from task to task with ease.
Desirable:
*Attending networking events and being involved in the design and delivery of internal webinars.
*Experience of delivering training sessions on HR topics.
