Salary: £50k - £100k + bonuses

Team Size: Commercial Property team 4 including support staff

The Opportunity
The successful Commercial Property Solicitor (Head of Department) will manage a diverse range of commercial property matters, including:
• Sales and acquisitions of commercial properties.
• Landlord and tenant matters, including lease grants, assignments, and renewals.
• Development agreements and property refinancing.
• Portfolio management for commercial clients.
• Navigating Land Registry processes and handling SDLT submissions.
Key Responsibilities
• Handling commercial property transactions from start to finish with minimal supervision.
• Growing the department by expanding the client base and generating new business.
• Preparing and managing sensitive documents under tight deadlines.
• Maintaining strong client relationships and providing exceptional service.
Key Requirements
• 5+ years PQE in commercial property law with substantial experience in complex transactions.
• Proven ability to meet fee-earning targets and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Strong technical expertise, including proficiency in Word, Excel, Land Registry, and SDLT systems.
• Excellent client communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive and ambitious approach with a drive to grow the department.
• A client following is advantageous but not required.
