The Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading retailer for an experienced Social Media Manager to join their team based in Walsall, with hybrid working available. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a salary of up to £45,000.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for shaping and executing the company’s social media strategy, engaging with millions of customers daily, and driving growth across online platforms. Key Responsibilities
*Develop and implement social media strategies to increase audience engagement and follower growth.
*Oversee the creation and management of a dynamic social media content calendar aligned with the company’s activity plans.
*Collaborate with internal teams and external creatives to produce high-quality content, including images, videos, and GIFs.
*Build relationships with influencers to enhance brand visibility and outreach.
*Monitor and respond to social media interactions, fostering a vibrant online community.
*Analyse social media performance metrics to optimise campaigns and strategies.
*Identify and capitalise on current trends to maintain a competitive edge in the digital space.
*Work closely with customer service, PR, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
*Manage paid social campaigns, ensuring effective use of budgets and resources.
*Nurture user-generated content and advocate groups to promote positive brand sentiment.
Candidate Criteria
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
*Proven experience in social media management, ideally within the retail or marketing sectors.
*Proficiency in managing social media platforms, web tools, and analytics tools.
*Exceptional content creation and storytelling skills with a strong eye for detail.
*The ability to spot and leverage emerging trends effectively.
*Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of delivering engaging content.
*A proactive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
*Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
*Experience in managing paid social campaigns and evaluating performance metrics.
*Confidence in engaging with influencers and building beneficial partnerships.
*A passion for creating engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.
