Job Description:
Job Title: Financial Controller
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, flexibility on start and finish times between the hours of 7:30am and 6:00pm to suit, finishing early on a Friday at 12:30pm.
Location: Warwick, hybrid working available on a Friday
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus a discretionary bonus
Benefits: 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, holiday purchase scheme, a contributory pension scheme (5% matched from employer), private health care, life assurance of 3 x salary, EV car scheme, Employee assistance programme (EAP), free parking and half working days on Friday, finishing at 12:30pm.

Based in Warwick, this role offers the chance to play a pivotal part in the company’s financial strategy, driving budgeting, forecasting, and project accounting. Duties include:
* Oversee monthly management and project accounts for UK and US operations.
* Prepare detailed reports for the Operational Board, highlighting financial performance.
* Manage project accounting processes, from bids to completion.
* Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and rolling forecasts.
* Develop and implement robust financial controls across the business.
* Supervise Purchasing, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and Payroll, managing a small team.
* Support tax planning initiatives, particularly R&D tax credits.
* Prepare statutory accounts and coordinate with external auditors.
* Assist in the development of business support and policy updates.
* Collaborate with US Finance Team and senior management on various projects.
Skills and experience required:
* Fully qualified or QBE with CIMA/ACCA certification.
* A strong background in consultancy or project-based environments.
* Excellent project accounting skills and understanding of financial processes.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Sage 200 is advantageous.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across all levels of the business.
* A proactive and adaptable approach to working in a growing, dynamic organisation.
* The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent time management, with the ability to work to deadlines.
