Orka Financial is currently working with a growing business based in Bracknell which is looking to hire a new Finance Manager on a 12 month contract. The current incumbent leaves at the end of the year so our client is keen to have someone in place asap to maximise the handover period.
If successful, you will be managing a small team of three and be responsible for the month end reporting. This will include all balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments as well as monthly VAT returns. You will also oversee the close of the accounts payable and receivable ledgers. There will be extensive intercompany accounting and tax liability calculations for various European entities.
In order to be considered for this role, you will need to be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified and available immediately. Our client currently work a hybrid model with three days per week in the office. They have on site parking but are also within walking distance of the train station.
