Academics are looking for a Teaching assistant for a part time role in a welcoming school in Newport. We are looking for both experienced Teaching Assistants and anyone looking to kick start their career in education.
Key responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant.
*Supporting the class teacher with daily activities and lesson and material preparation.
*Assisting with basic literacy and numeracy tasks for small groups of students.
*Providing 1:1 support for students who need extra assistance.

*Weekly pay of between £415 and £450, depending on experience.

What we need from you
*An enhanced DBS check (essential) which is subscribed to the DBS update service
*Registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council).
*Two recent and professional references
*Experience working as a teaching assistant or in a school setting (desirable).
