Job Description:
Maintenance Electrician - FM - Wolverhampton - c£34,000 - £38,000
42.5hrs per week
We are currently look for a Building Service Engineer/ Electrician to work alongside our existing Facilities team.
The main responsibilities will be to carry out monthly PPM services across a large number of sites, you will be required to inspect premises, conduct routine maintenance as per SFG20 Maintenance Schedules, to include but not limited to Emergency Light Servicing, Distribution Board Checks, RCD/RCBO/AFDD Checks, PAT & Fixed Appliance Tests and to perform repairs and fix any faulty accessories.
You will also be required to carry out install works alongside our projects and install team on occasion.
Requirements & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a history of carrying out Electrical PPM Services and hold an ECS Gold Card.
· Proven experience as a Building Service Engineer/ Electrician (minimum 4 years)
· City and Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2 or equivalent
· NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations
· City and Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
· A current valid JIB/ECS Gold Card
· City and Guilds 2391 Test and Inspection Qualification or equivalent (advantageous)
· Hands-on experience in working within the maintenance & service industry
· Ability to read technical documents and drawings
· Excellent approach to health & safety following all guidelines required
· Full Driving License
· Computer Literate
