Job Description:
Are you passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and vibrant team at a secondary school in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to make a difference and support students in their learning and development.
About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
*Support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons, both in small groups and one-on-one.
*Help students with their learning, particularly those with special educational needs (SEN) or additional learning needs.
*Assist in the preparation of classroom resources and materials.
*Encourage positive behaviour and support the emotional well-being of students.
*Work closely with teachers and other staff members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
*Assist with extra-curricular activities and school events as required.
About You: We are looking for someone who:
*Is patient, caring, and passionate about working with young people.
*Has strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
*Is adaptable and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
*Is committed to supporting the educational and personal development of all students.
*Has experience working with children or young people in an educational setting (previous experience as a teaching assistant is desirable but not essential).
Requirements: *Previous experience working with young people, ideally in a school environment.
*Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
*An enhanced DBS check will be required (we can assist with this process).
