Main purpose of job:
To assist the Transfer Station Manager in the safe, compliant and efficient operation and development of Cheshire Waste Management Centre. Working on a hazardous waste management site and providing technical support and basic chemical analysis for the operation, ensuring efficient management of material receipt, dispatch and on site storage.
Your responsibilities will include:
*To carry out inspection, analysis and routing for incoming wastes.
*Arrange and prepare waste for outgoing loads ensuring all loads meet all required legislation.
*To liaise with customer service and technical assessment departments to resolve issues such as non-conformance.
*To assist in maintenance tasks where necessary.
Do you have what it takes?
*A scientific/environmental qualification at HNC level as a minimum?
*Computer literacy especially in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook?
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills?
