Location: Various Secondary Schools in the Preston Area
Salary: Competitive - Based on experience

Spencer Clarke Group is working in partnership with several well-established secondary schools in the Preston area to recruit full-time Cover Supervisors. This role is perfect for individuals with classroom experience, whether you have already led classes or are a teaching assistant looking to progress into leading lessons.
The Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity in students’ education during teacher absences. Your responsibilities will include:
*Delivering pre-prepared lessons to classes across a range of subjects.
*Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
*Providing support and guidance to students to ensure a positive learning environment.
*Collaborating with teaching staff to contribute to the schools’ success.
What We’re Looking For: To excel in this role, you should have:
*Previous experience working in a classroom setting (essential).
*Confidence in managing groups of students independently.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*A genuine enthusiasm for helping young people reach their potential.
This position is ideal for:
*Former Cover Supervisors or individuals with relevant classroom leadership experience.
*Teaching Assistants seeking progression into more independent roles.
*Graduates considering a career in education and looking to gain hands-on classroom experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Spencer Clarke Group work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary, Special Education needs and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
