Warehouse, Transport, Pick, Pack, Despatch, Customer Service & Purchasing

The Role:
Reporting to the Managing Director and leading a dedicated team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, pick, pack despatch, transport, customer service, and purchasing departments. Your primary goal will be to ensure efficient and effective operations, meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage and oversee warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
*Supervise pick pack despatch processes to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
*Coordinate transport logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods.
*Lead the customer service team to provide exceptional support and resolve any issues promptly.
*Oversee purchasing activities, maintaining optimal inventory levels and supplier relationships.
*Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
*Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
*Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
*Train, mentor, and develop staff to achieve their full potential.
Experience:
*Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role.
*Strong knowledge of warehouse, logistics, and supply chain management.
*Excellent leadership and team management skills.
*Outstanding organisational and problem-solving abilities.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
*Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
