Job Description:
Do you enjoy working with children and supporting their development in a fun, engaging environment? Join our agency as a Wrap-Around Care Assistant, providing essential support at breakfast clubs and after-school programs across various schools. This flexible role allows you to make a positive impact on children’s lives outside of regular school hours.
Key Responsibilities:
*Assisting in the supervision of children during breakfast and after-school club activities
*Helping with the preparation and serving of healthy meals or snacks
*Organizing and leading fun, age-appropriate activities such as games, crafts, and sports
*Ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times
*Assisting with set-up and clean-up of the club area before and after sessions
*Supporting children with any individual needs and fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere
Ideal Candidate:
*Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school or childcare setting
*A passion for creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Ability to work flexibly, including mornings and afternoons
*Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one (required)
*Access to own vehicle would be beneficial for this role.
