Job Description:
Here at Stonewater, we are now seeking a Finance Business Partner to be responsible for all aspects of management reporting including management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, KPIs and variance analysis. You will ensure a high-quality effective service is delivered to internal customers, which includes providing financial information, analysis, advice, and support in commercial decision making and the growth of the business to initiate and develop solutions to satisfy changing needs of customers.
As our Finance Business Partner, you will prepare timely, accurate and relevant monthly and annual accounts, quarterly forecast, annual budget for relevant directorates and ensure timely submission of results to the directorate leadership and their management teams. Identifying and reporting Value for Money initiatives and savings and preparing accounts to trial balance, including all month/year end accounting, controls, and reconciliations, you will work collaboratively and supportively as part of the wider finance team and encourage a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and a customer focused service able to deliver the results in a changing environment.
The ideal candidate will:
*Be a qualified accountant (or finalist) with relevant experience in management accounting and finance business partnering service.
Have experience of Project accounting. Exposure to intercompany and payroll reporting would also be desirable.
*Have excellent business partnering skills and a customer service approach.
*Have strong accounting and financial control experience including balance sheet reconciliations and preparing accounts to Trial Balance.
*Have strong analytical, communication and presentation skills to influence the decision-making process at operational level.
*Have experience of working with Microsoft Finance System software.
*Have excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
*Able to initiate, define and project manage system and process changes to drive business efficiencies and continuous improvement.
Appointment to this role will be subject to satisfactory references and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
