You will be joining a multi-accredited main contractor based in Derby operating primarily in the power sector. This established organisation has a strong pipeline of work and offers excellent opportunities for professional development and to progress into senior management. Your new role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of schemes across multiple sectors, from inception through to completion, across England. Most projects are predominantly within the Midlands region, and you will be based on one site at a time, managing subcontractors and direct labour on schemes valued up to £20m. Works will include groundworks, drainage and RC works. You will also be expected to commute and lodge at sites further afield if need be.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have:
*Previous experience overseeing the successful delivery of civil works (ideally within the power, industrial and/or commercial industries)
*CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid
*Ability to manage and lead a team effectively to ensure successful project outcomes
*Sound interpersonal, leadership and organisational skills
*Full UK Driving Licence.
