Finance Director - c£70,000 - £83,000 plus good pension, holidays and benefits
3 days per week onsite in West Yorkshire
You are an experienced finance professional and you can lead across a range of activities across the Finance function including people development and leadership. You also have experience in leading across project delivery, finance business partnering, financial planning and analysis work.
You are looking for a role where you can build successful relationships and promote excellent team working practices both externally and internally and at all levels of an organisation and can upskill and develop the finance team to offer a true business partnered service to a wide range of high profile stakeholders across an innovative not for profit organisation.
What you’ll be doing:
The role will be varied and will not be restricted to fixed responsibilities. Areas of work which the role could undertake include the following:
*As part of the leadership team, contribute to the development and delivery of high quality financial services and significant input and leadership of broader strategy across the organisation.
*Build and develop strong working relationships with finance colleagues and non finance stakeholders.
*Work with a continued commitment to developing best practice ways of working with other finance colleagues and non finance budget holders.
*Leadership to develop financial strategy to enable achievement of organisational goals
*Leading on specific organisation wide development projects.
What you’ll need to offer:
As an experienced finance strategic leader you would bring extensive experience of leading, managing and developing teams across accounting, budget preparation, forecasting, offering high quality finance business partnering support to business units including senior stakeholders engagement.
You will be promoting and building successful relationships both externally and internally at all levels.
You will ideally be a qualified accountant ( ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CIPFA ) with substantial financial leadership and staff management experience within a similar complex organisation.
