Responsibilities:
*Oversee day-to-day operations across data engineering, data science, analytics, and product teams to ensure smooth delivery of capabilities aligned with business goals.
*Act as a trusted point of escalation, resolving issues while maintaining operational continuity.
*Identify and implement improvements to reduce reactive firefighting and foster a proactive, structured environment.
*Develop and track performance metrics to drive efficiency and align processes with industry best practices.
*Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels to ensure effective communication, prioritization, and decision-making.
*Collaborate with leadership to align operational demands with strategic objectives.
*Provide governance and operational support for innovative data initiatives, such as AI-driven products and data marketplaces.
*Establish governance frameworks to ensure smooth project progression and resource allocation.
*- Foster a culture of collaboration and performance across data teams, providing guidance, resolving conflicts, and ensuring professional growth.
What you will bring:
*8+ years in data operations, management, or analytics, with at least 3 years in leadership.
*Experience in large, multi-location organizations in industries like mining, pharmaceuticals, or manufacturing is a plus.
*Experience with Data Analytics, Computer Vision Applications, Agile/Scrum (Project Management Methodology), etc.
