Join a leading and expanding Insurance business as a Management Accountant, where you’ll play a crucial role in managing UK accounting processes, month-end activities, and business forecasting and planning.
Key Responsibilities as Management Accountant :
*Ensure timely monthly accounts closing and reporting
*Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to ensure they meet business needs
*Prepare, review, and monitor management accounts
*Present monthly P&L reports to stakeholders
*Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide valuable financial insights
*Maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations
*Support the preparation of annual financial statements and audits
*Manage the fixed asset register and capex reporting
*Contribute to financial process improvements and maintain control integrity
*Conduct quarterly intercompany reconciliations
Qualifications and Skills needed as Management Accountant:
*Strong understanding and practical experience in Management Accounting complimented by an appropriate Accountancy qualification
*Focus on continuous improvement and ability to create management information to drive business growth
*Proficiency in financial modelling, reporting, and forecasting
