This is an ideal opportunity if you’re looking to grow within a company that values precision, accountability, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:

*Collaborative Operations: Work closely with the Payroll Manager and Registrations Team, fostering efficient processes and streamlined communication to support smooth payroll cycles.
*Organised Task Management: Prioritise your tasks effectively, manage a busy inbox with ease, and stay on top of payroll-related activities in a fast-paced environment.
*Client and Employee Support: Act as a knowledgeable point of contact for payroll inquiries, addressing questions directly or escalating to relevant team members as needed.
*Problem Solving and Clarity: Resolve any payroll discrepancies and simplify complex payroll concepts for employees and clients, ensuring everyone understands the process and their entitlements.
*Advanced Excel Use: Apply strong Excel skills for data management and in-depth analysis, using tools like pivot tables, formulas, and other functions to support reporting and payroll accuracy.
*Complete Payroll Process Management: Handle the end-to-end payroll process, from generating trials and journals to creating BACS payment schedules, processing weekly payrolls, handling additional payments, reviewing client billable expenses, and balancing all figures.
What We’re Looking For:
*Payroll Expertise: Previous payroll experience is essential, with a solid understanding of end-to-end payroll processing. Merit Software payroll system.
*Umbrella Company Knowledge: Familiarity with umbrella companies is a plus, but not required.
