We are recruiting for an EXPERIENCED AIR IMPORT CLERK who has worked within freight forwarding!
*Prepare and review import documentation including AWB, invoices , import permits and other related documentation
*Maintain accurate records for audit and compliance purposes
*Coordinate with customs authorities to ensure timely clearance of goods
*Stay updated with import regulations, tariffs and trade agreements to ensure compliance with local and international laws
*Liaise with stakeholders and relevant departments
*Calculate and track import duties, taxes and fees payable on imported goods
*Monitoring and tracking shipments and providing updates to clients
Experience needed:
*Previous experience in an airfreight import role
*Knowledge of temperature controlled procedures and regulations is an advantage
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Working hours:
*4 on 4 off DAYS 7.00AM - 19.00PM
