Finance Officer (Accounts Receivable) | £17 - £19 Per Hour | Interim | Yorkshire
Castlefield Recruitment are working with an excellent public sector organisation in Yorkshire who are looking to recruit a Finance Officer to their team on an interim basis. This role offers hybrid working and other great benefits.
Duties:
*Chasing overdue invoices via email, telephone and through portals to ensure invoices get paid
*Dealing with any overdue invoice related queries which are preventing invoices getting paid
*Providing excellent customer service and negotiating payment plans where necessary
*Allocating payments to correct payments and raising invoices where required
*Updating the aged debt report frequently and reporting this to seniors  
Experience:
*Previous experience working with aged debt and chasing payments, preferably in the wider public sector (sector isn’t essential)
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Ability to prioritise a heavy workload and work independently
*Great attention to detail and available to start next role immediately or on a short notice period
