Lewisham is looking for a Revenues & Benefits Control Manager to lead the financial management and compliance of our revenues and benefits service.
?? Key Responsibilities: *Oversee and manage control processes for the revenues and benefits function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
*Lead a team responsible for processing housing benefit claims, council tax reduction applications, and business rates administration.
*Monitor financial performance and ensure adherence to legislative requirements, including subsidy audits and grant claims.
*Develop strategies to improve service delivery, reduce fraud and error, and optimize revenue collection.
*Provide expert guidance to the team and stakeholders on complex cases and regulatory changes.
*Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to ensure seamless service delivery.
