Job Description:
Our Client is seeking a qualified Family Law Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE to join their growing family law team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, with a particular focus on divorce, finances, children, and cohabitee disputes. You will work in a supportive, collaborative environment and have the chance to develop your career while enjoying a good work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a full caseload of family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, children and cohabitee disputes.
• Advise clients, negotiate settlements, and represent them in family law proceedings.
• Provide expert advice to clients with investment portfolios, pensions, and high-net-worth individuals.
• Assist in marketing the firm by writing articles and blogs for the website and social media platforms.
• Collaborate with colleagues and assist in business development to help grow the family law practice.
• Provide a high standard of client care and ensure timely, efficient management of cases.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 2 years’ PQE in Family Law, with significant experience in divorce, finances, children and cohabitee disputes.
• Proven ability to manage your own caseload and work independently.
• Experience advising clients with complex financial and asset matters, including investment portfolios and pensions.
• Experience in Part 7/Part 8 claims is desirable.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and client care skills.
• Ability to contribute to business development and marketing efforts, with a proactive approach to growing the firm’s presence.
• An interest in professional development and a commitment to ongoing learning.
