Job Description:
Electronics Design Engineer
Salary: Up to £55,000 DOE + Company Bonus
Location: Great Yarmouth (Office-based)
Contract: Full-time, 5 days per week with flexible working hours
Relocation: Support available for relocation to Norfolk
Eligibility: Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK

About the Role
Join a dynamic design team developing cutting-edge electronic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
*Design and enhance electronic products in line with target specifications
*Develop schematics and multi-layer PCB designs, verified through modeling, simulation, and testing
*Conduct failure analysis, testing, and repair of existing systems
*Collaborate with teams and participate in design reviews
*Create and maintain detailed product documentation
*Support new product evaluations and ensure compliance with specifications
*Provide technical support to customers and colleagues, occasionally involving travel within the UK and overseas
*Work with external partners during design, prototyping, and manufacturing phases
Essential Skills & Experience:
*Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
*Minimum 3 years’ experience in designing electronic products and embedded systems
*Proficiency in mixed-signal design, including SOC, FPGA, control systems, power supplies, and transducer drivers
Desirable Skills & Experience:
*Experience with Altium Designer, MATLAB, and communication protocols (SPI, I2C, Ethernet, etc.)
*Knowledge of systems operating at 400V DC and DSP techniques
*Familiarity with laboratory test equipment and repair tools
