The Lead HR Business Partner will provide strategic HR leadership to support a consultation process within a public sector organisation. The role focuses on delivering people-centred solutions and managing the HR aspects of organisational change. This includes leading collective consultations, driving stakeholder engagement, and supporting senior managers throughout the process.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Organisational Change Leadership
*Develop and implement people-focused change initiatives while building trust and engagement with employees and stakeholders.
Collective Consultation
*Lead collective consultations in a unionised environment, addressing concerns transparently and maintaining strong relationships with union representatives.
*Facilitate discussions and coach managers to navigate consultation processes effectively.
Stakeholder Management
*Build and maintain strong partnerships with leaders and stakeholders, influencing outcomes.
*Provide expert advice on restructuring, redundancies, and consultation requirements in line with employment legislation.
Coaching and Training
*Support managers by coaching and mentoring them to lead their teams through change effectively.
*Deliver briefing sessions and workshops on HR policies, change management, and other key topics.
Data-Driven Insights
*Use HR data to inform decision-making and provide insight into current and future trends affecting organisational change.
Policy and Compliance
*Ensure compliance with employment law and organisational policies, promoting fairness and consistency.
*Provide technical expertise and advice on complex HR issues, ensuring alignment with organisational values.
Team Collaboration
*Collaborate across departments to deliver HR interventions that support wider organisational objectives.
*Act as a point of expertise for HR-related matters, challenging thinking and driving innovative solutions.

Essential Knowledge and Experience:
*Proven experience leading HR organisational change in complex public sector environments.
*Expertise in employment legislation, particularly concerning redundancies, restructuring, and consultations.
*Experience working in unionised environments, including leading collective consultations.
