Job Description:
Your new firm
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-renowned, leading firm based in the heart of Manchester, in their payroll division. With over 60 years of expertise and establishment, they specialise in all services, providing specialist advice in accounts and audit, tax, payroll, business advisory and more. With a varied client portfolio consisting of OMBs, Limited companies, SMEs and more, this is a great opportunity to further your current experience, servicing a larger pool of clients. As a firm that prides themselves on being people focussed, they offer a flexible and hybrid working pattern to maintain a healthy work-life balance, whilst also supporting you to progress throughout your professional career. Due to internal growth, this payroll support job has arisen.
Your new role
You will be joining a friendly and specialist team of payroll professionals, reporting into both your assistant manager and manager, supporting them daily. You will be assisting your team, servicing a portfolio of up to 200 clients, consisting of payroll administration, managing the payroll inbox, running reports, uploading documentation and pension administration, and running end to end payroll. Other duties such as ad-ho assignments will be expected of you, supporting both the tax and accounts team when needed.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have prior payroll experience in a bureau and practice environment, a minimum of 3 years. Sage and Brightpay software experience is required, whilst having the ability to effectively communicate and delete your time. Experience with professional service clients is ideal, but not a requirement.
What you’ll get in return
In return, you will be offered a competitive salary ranging between £27,000 to £30,000, depending on your experience.
