Job Description:
Your new firmThis is an exciting opportunity to join a well renowned, leading firm based in the heart of Manchester, that have an exciting opportunity in their audit team. Being a top 20 firm, they specialise in all departments, from accounts and audit to tax and payroll and more. With a client base of SME’s to OMB’s and larger clients, you can develop your knowledge here. This audit assistant role has arisen due to organic internal growth within the firm.
Your new role
You will be joining a team of audit professionals, for you to both learn from and develop with; you will be joining the external audit team. The role will involve working with a mix of clients, from corporate and non-profit, compromising managing a portfolio of clients. Other duties will consist of assisting the accounts team with accounts preparation, whilst having the opportunity to get involved with tax work.
What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you need to have prior practice experience, minimum 2 years, whilst being part qualified in your ACA or ACCA qualifications. In terms of audit experience, you should have assisted in the planning and fieldwork stages of an audit. Other desirable qualities would be experience in accounts preparation. However, this is not mandatory. You must be able to effectively communicate when it comes to client meetings and attending fieldwork stages of an audit.
